In all honesty I dont know how to go about this.
Is love really all that innocent? Sometimes I tend to confuse it with lust, or comfort. However, I am not trying to justify my actions or feelings, this is me just rambling. So bare with me.
When you fall in love with someone, it can be because of several reasons. Whether it is because of their personality, their looks, or their morals, you just do. Now, to love someone is also to commit, to give your heart to them, and only them. Is it possible to share your heart to someone else?
In society (and i guess if you want to go that far, the bible), it is a sin to break that vow and thats where adultery takes over. I agree if this is just lustful matters and you want the taste of another’s flesh, their bare skin on you and nothing more. But what about you share something much more on a deeper level? What if you share with them a more intellectual and emotional bond. Am I confusing this with friendship?
I dont believe that you can give your heart to just one person. Being the type of person that I am, I embrace anyone and everyone. It is my weakness and my strength. I cant be blamed either. Didnt Jesus give his heart to all his children? And in matters of the flesh, where sexual tension is present, werent we designed that way? Animal instincts. We categorize ourselves as part of the animal kingdom, but we immediately forget that when something is “wrong”.
I will admit, I do have feelings for someone that I shouldnt. Someone who is off limits, and he is just as guilty. My only thought about this is that I wish someone else could talk to me as much as he does, as easy as he does. How unfortunate that we come back into each others lives at such an unfortunate time. Once growing up together as children, only to be seperated by distance and time. Over 10 years later and we end up finding each other. The crazy thing is, we get along as if we never left from each others presence. Whats more, the attraction is crazy. Everything I would want in someone.
I must not get too carried away. Is this wrong? is being human wrong? Who decides it to be? and why should it?
I am probably going to regret writing this and will erase it in about 2 minutes.
